Lisa Kleinknecht,
President/CEO
,
has been actively involved
with Kleinknecht Electric Company, Inc. for many years.
She received her Master Electrician License from Suffolk
County in February 2006. Lisa spends much of her time handling
field operations and monitoring the progress of jobs. She
manages the day-to-day operations of the office including
insurance, benefits, real estate, marketing, IT, HR and
finance. She is currently a trustee on EESISP (Electrical
Employers Self Insurance Safety Plan), which provides
workman’s compensation insurance for Local #3 members. Lisa
also is a Representative for the NY Chapter of National
Electrical Association. Her background includes several years
in telecommunications and data sales in New York City. After
that, Lisa moved into banking and worked for a large custodial
bank in Foreign Exchange Sales. Lisa earned a BA from
Northwestern University in Evanston, IL and a Master’s in
Business Administration from the McDonough School of Business
at Georgetown University in Washington DC. She has also
completed various industry courses at Mechanics Institute and
the Electrical Training Course in NYC. Lisa serves as a
Co-Chair for the Junior Council at the American Museum of
Natural History. She is a current member of the Board of
Advisors for Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business.
Lisa is one of the third generations of Kleinknechts to work
at KEC.
Suzanne Kleinknecht,
Assistant Secretary , has been involved with Kleinknecht
Electric Company, Inc. since January 2004. Her involvement
includes advising on negotiations with the Union on various
contract issues as well as supervising the budgeting process
for the entire organization. Suzanne has also
participated in developing the strategic marketing plan for
Kleinknecht Electric Company, Inc. Suzanne earned a BS
in Journalism from Northwestern University in Evanston,
IL. She currently serves as President of the Cold Spring
Harbor School Board and is a board member for various
charitable organizations.
Mark Kleinknecht, Vice
President
, has been working with Kleinknecht Electric Company, Inc. for
several years. His involvement includes marketing and sales.
Prior to KEC, Mark worked at CSFB in the equities division and
at Herzog, Heine & Geduld as an assistant trader.
Mark earned a BA at the University of Pennsylvania and a MBA
at UCLA’s Anderson School of Business. Mark serves as a member
of the Steering Committee of the Junior Council at the
American Museum of Natural History. Mark is one of the third
generations of Kleinknechts to work at KEC.
Gerald Laurita,
Superintendent ,
has been with KEC since January of 2004. He is a seasoned
electrical professional with experience as a General Foreman,
Project Manager, Superintendent and Operations Director. At
KEC, Gerry controls the field and production operations. His
main focus is monitoring man-hours on the job and managing the
placement of the 250 electricians. His experience and skills
make Gerry a valuable asset to customers because of his
abilities to value engineer projects. Gerry earned an
Associate in Science Degree in Labor Management Relations at
S.U.N.Y. Empire State College Center for Labor Studies. He has
also completed courses toward a degree in Electrical &
Electronic Technology at New York Institute of Technology. He
is licensed by the Board of Education, City of New York, to
teach electrical installation. Gerry is also actively involved
in numerous electrical associations. He is a member of
National Electrical Code Committee panel #4 and the Committee
for Restructuring of NYC Electrical Code. Gerry serves as
Chairman for the Apprentice Review Committee for IBEW Local
Union #3.
